At what speed does driving with windows down make it more gas efficient than running the air conditioning?

Below 40 MPH Above 40 MPH, the aerodynamic drag of the open windows will consume more fuel. So you may as well be using the air conditioning and roll the windows up.
you paid 1200 dollars for ac...it runs for pennys a day...i dont care...but if u must 40 to 50 mph

The lower the speed, the lower the drag from having the windows down. What exact speed is the break-even speed for whatever your car is? Depends on faaaaaar too many factors to have an accurate answer...what car? ambient temperature, a/c settings, constant speed vs stop and go, engine rpm, etc.
