What is the most cost efficient way to transport a vehicle interstate with out driving it?

1. flatbed tow truck
2. Tow it on a flatbed trailer with a buddy's truck.
3. You can always tow it using another car or truck
4. I would try a local transport company.

By the time you rent a trailor,truck to haul the trailor,or hire a tow truck you may spend more than what the car will burn in fuel. you also need to tell us how far you are going with it. flat bed truck are expensive to hire. i know they get around 50 dollars just for local. if you rent a truck and trailor you will have to pay extra to have someone pick it up unless you plan on bringing it back. there are car transport companies but i dont have anyidea how much they cost.
