Now a days petrol is being so expensive so that i have to compel find other options for running my vehicle.As i am an Indian businessman , and i have to daily run here and there for my business work. I try to find the solution and i think its a problem of every common man. So please help me to find the solution of this problem. and suggest me the Alternative Fuel Vehicles.

There are many like Biodiesel, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Electric Vehicles (EVs), Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG / Propane) etc., but the best alternate fuel is Hydrogen, which you can't get it or use it here in India. Right now you can use Diesel version or LPG/CNG cars for time being. pkn

A lot will depend on where you live, and do business, how many miles you drive a day, and how far you travel from home. There are several options, !. Electric 2.pneumatic, India is developing a car run on air. 3. Hydrogen.
To all posters, hydrogen is not a fuel, its a battery. There is no hydrogen gas here on earth, its mostly locked up in one of the lowest states of energy molecule. To extract the Hydrogen from the lowest energy state to its highest in the form of a gas molecule takes a whole lot more energy than you can get out of it as a gas. So erase all thoughts (or prove that the 3 laws of thermo do not exist) of using hydrogen.

Everybody always forgets natural gas (methane)! I have 2 vehicles that run on it and they're wonderful to have. Very clean, very cheap to fill up, and they actually exist now and have for years. I believe in India there are carmakers that are making these cars or soon will be. Call up some local car dealers and find out about natural gas powered cars and if there are places to fill up near you.
This may help... Select the most expensive Co. and pass the word that this month no one should do business with that Co. After they lower the cost of there fuel then select the next highest Co. They think that U must buy there product but U can change together it will help a little...
