How intelligent is the Cat ? I watched a cat stuck at the porch. She tried to jump up inside and got scared.?

She kept going around till she found a car parked under the porch. She jumped on the rooof of the car, then jumped on the hood, then jumped to the ground. I thought that was pretty smart. Do U have other stories showing cat intelligence?

1. Cats are very smart. No stories here, just agreeing with ya.
2. Some of our doors in our house open 'inwards' and some open 'outwards'. When she wants to go into or out of a room she knows whether she can bash (headbutt..!) it open or she has to wait for her mummy to open it for her :) I thought that was pretty clever, as even I forget which way our doors open sometimes! Also, we never leave her toys in the same place. Sometimes they're all left in my brothers bedroom, sometimes in a drawer in the hall, but she always remembers where you put them last. She knows jingling of car keys and bags means she has to go upstairs (have to shut all the downstairs doors at night and when we're out for the alarm). :)
3. we have our motorhome backed up to within a foot of the back of our house, well one time my cat got on the roof of our house by jumping up on the bumper of the motor home, then climbing up the ladder that is on the back of the motorhome, and then jumped up on the roof. she likes to lay up there sometime. when she comes down she does it in reverse.
