Looking for intelligent people to correspond with. Can you help?

I am tired of talking to my husband about cars, lowriders, video games and poker. I like cooking, reading, tattoos and piercings and intelligent conversations. Anybody out there into any of this stuff? I am not insinuating that the things my husband likes are not intelligent. Am just looking for people with interests more similar to my own.

13. I have no patience for ignorant people. You sound like you have a good head. I'll chat with you, but I am not sure how much we'd have in common. I have four kids and that is pretty much my life. I too like piercings. Tattoo's scare me. It's the whole needle thing.
14. reading is ok, I have a few tatoos & my eyebrow is pierced & i plan on getting my nose done next. my man watches wwe wresling, & i cannot stand it, I mean its just a soap opera for men, but they go too far with the T & A & exploiting women

16. I personally think your a little pretentious. To you intellegent conversation has something to Tatoos and Piercings? Poker is one of the most mind intensive games anyone can play, not that that is intellegent conversation. Get over yourself sweetheart. Try to talk with your husband without talking at him.
17. Update us on what you like to read and what kind of conversations you're into. I ask because 2 of your preferences (tattoos, piercings) don't strike me as inherently more intelligent than lowriders. This is not a put-down, just let me know what we're talking about here. UPDATE: I stand corrected. I'd welcome correspondence on reading, intelltigent conversation & cooking. Those other 2 scare me & in any case I don't know much about them.
18. i cook for a living and i love food. i like to read, try the alienist. i have 7 tattoos and a few piercings. and i think im fairly intelligent.
19. I totally can relate! The few precious hours we have with each other each night is filled with talk or tv about cars, low ryders, playstation or poker too....The only thing nice right now is we are both just as interested in the NBA playoffs and can talk for hours about it. But again I hear ya...I like cooking, reading, talking to intelligent people and although I didn't like getting my tattoos I have three and a bunch of peircings. The only thing I can say about them is I wish I didn't have it done but my hubbys late grams just died and left behind her tattoo shop. For years we could go get free ink or peircings~when we were "friends" and not even dating yet his grams would give me noserings left and right-I miss her generosity :) What do you have peirced? My ears are done top and bottom, my toungue was done and thankfully closed, and my nose was done when I was 19 and has never closed; and my tats on on my back and shoulder....
