Proper inflation pressure for Dunlop Sport 9000 245/45 ZR17 tires?
Recently bought a car with these tires on them, and I want to make sure they are properly inflated. It does not specify the inflation pressure on the tire, and I have not been able to find it online. Help? I'm sorry I should have been more specific. The tires are aftermarket tires and therefore the dealer would not know the proper inflation pressure. Also Dunlop has discontinued this model so I was unable to get the information from their website.

- check with www.dunlop.com
- Call the dealer for the make & model of the vehicle you own & ask him/her.
- 5 under the psi it says on the tire for better traction.every tire tells the psi including aftermarket tires.
- The brand and model of tire is irrelevant. I can answer this question but need the important information - year/make/model of vehicle, original COMPLETE tire size (including the Service Description) and the complete current tire size including Service Description. Example: P245/45R17 89W P245/45R17 95W 245/45ZR17 (obsolete but still sometimes used description) 245/45R17 95 245/45R17XL 99W Or whatever it happens to be. Those last couple of digits are the really important ones for determining correct tire pressure when using tire sizes different than what originally came on the car. All of those tire sizes I just listed for example are dimensionally identical but would require different inflation pressures.
