Which hybrid car gets the best mileage and is the best buy for my money?

I want to get a new hybrid car but am undecided. I think I am boiling it down to the Toyota Prius and the Honda Civic hybrid. Does anybody have input on these or other hybrids?

1. git the Honda great car but you will git your moneys worth with a hybrid with raising gas prices you will be happy about gitting it (you will save money)by buying a hybrids
2. get the TOYOTA PRIUS it gets 48 city and like 45 highway and you can go 25 miles for around $1.00 of gas
3. Toyota Prius. it can get up to about 46 mpg, and even (if your lucky) 61mpg. vs. the civic gets about 41 mpg. more people also buy the Prius. they say for every civic hybrid sold, 3 prius are sold
