Can a 16 year old drive a smart car in the UK?

Some friends told me, but i am not sure. Please let me know from what age are you legally allowed to drive a smart car. Thank you In the UK.

1. There are not special laws just for the smart car. Whatever the minimum age is to drive is the same one for a smart car.
2. Its a car so you have to be 17. The only exemption would be if you are disabled and on mobility allowance then you can get a provisional driving licence for a car a 16.
3. You can learn how to drive at 17, and take the test asap. But the law is meant to be getting changed so peopl e can learn to drive when theyre 17, but not take the test till their 18.. :// Stupid Law.
4. You have to be old enough to have a driving licence, and car insurance before you can think about driving a Smart Car.
