How does a Hybrid car work? How many Miles per gallon does it have? How does it compare to other cars?

1. Hybrids are electric cars charged by gasoline engines attached to generators. Miles per gallon depend on the size engine they use, but is generally 30-60mpg if I understand correctly. They're a bit more complicated because they have a dual powerplant, but eventually, you should be able to replace the engine with other more advanced powerplants. I would love to have one if I could afford it.
